About Mat Jacob

Passionate with dance since childhood, Mat Jacob chose to entirely dedicate herself to Tribal Fusion Belly Dance when she moved to Montreal in 2005.
She devotes herself to the study and practice of this art form since then. Trained and supported by very important names of the community (Rachel Brice, Mardi Love...), Mat knows her path is now the one of dance.

Mat intensively trained herself (see the training section), attending as much workshops and classes as she could. Her major inspirations are Mira Betz, Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes et Mardi Love, all based in the USA.


Some shows :
In October 2009, Mat is honored to have been invited in Rachel Brice's show in Ottawa, Canada.

In April 2010, Mat was invited to perform 2 pieces in the Toronto show "Inversion H20", featuring Samantha Emanuel of the Bellydance Superstars.

July 2010, Mat organised a show featuring Mira Betz of San Francisco. She presented two pieces.

September 2010, Mat shared the stage with the great Mardi Love, for a show she organised in Montreal.

October 16th 2010, Mat Jacob will perform a piece in the "Cabaret Macabre", Show organised by Luna Kuarta. Tickets can be purshased here : www.admission.com
